Why a Solar System?

A solar electric system is an investment that will add both immediate and log-term value to your home.  A solar system can save you a substantial amount on your utility bills from the very first day it's installed.  In fact, many surveys show that commercial and residential building with solar systems bills decrease by more than 70%.

Solar systems allow you to be your own utility company, protecting you from rate increases.  Depending on the size of the system you choose, you may even produce enough energy to sell back to the utility company, further reducing your energy costs.  If you ever decide to sell your home, research shows that buyers are willing to pay a premium for a home with a solar module.

Solar systems allow you to make a positive impact on the environment.  Because you're creating clean, renewable energy, you're reducing harmful greenhouse gas emission and improving air quality, which benefits all of us.

Solar Systems provide numerous financial and environmental benefits.  Governments and utilities now offer incentives encouraging homeowners to adopt this technology.  May states, for example, offer rebate, tax credits or other incentives, some of which can pay up to half of the costs, making solar electric systems more affordable than ever.

How does Solar Work

Your home and office will produce energy, but it will remain connected to your utility.  If you use more electricity than you generate, power will automatically be drawn from your utility.  If you produce more electricity than you need, your meter will actually spin backwards and the excess will be sold to the utility for an automatic credit towards your next bill.  Whether the electricity is from your solar system or from the utility, your home will continue to run smoothly.

  1. Solar modules convert sunlight to direct current (DC) electricity.
  2. The inverter converts solar electricity (DC) into household current (AC)
  3. The utility meter spins forward when you draw electricity from the utility and backwards when your solar system generates more electricity than you're using.

Selecting a System

Each system is tailored to the meet the needs of your business or home.

  • Power - each system is optimized to meet your home or businesses needs
  • Space - each installation is customized for your home and geographic location
  • Economics - each system is modular and can be designed to fit your budget
